One of my all-time-favourite series is Robin of Sherwood, with Michael Praed and Jason Connery playing Robin. Most people didn't like Jason, but I do. So I made this portrait of him.

Beautiful artwork!
I'm truly happy to find a so good drawing of my favourite Robin.
Though I watched the whole series in the 80'a as a child, strangely enough it was the second Robin who captured my heart then, and become the one and only Robin for me... And it's been like that ever since.

It was the same for me. When Loxley/Praed left, everyone was determined to hate Jason/Huntingdon. I always felt that a lot of people didn't really give him the chance he deserved. I loved both Robins (still do), but Robert holds a special place in my heart. :)

amazing... Gosh... It was best Robin Hood series EVER. Nothing's forgotten, nothing's ever forgotten ... Michael was gorgeous as Robin, and I must admit - Jason was lovely too. And Clannad music - makes me day-dream :)

Oh yay - I've just gotten into this series and completely adore it. I like Jason as Robin although my heart belongs to Michael I think lol. Gorgeous work - you've made him almost ethereal here; I love his eyes. Have you considered drawing Marion? She's such a striking looking lady.

OMG! I can't believe I forgot all about this series. I was so obsessed with it :lol: And yes, I'm one of those people who prefered Robin of Loxley played by Michael Praed. Although Jason wasn't bad either. I liked him, after I got over the fact that they killed the other one =P
Great picture. It looks just like him. Nice work on the shading.

Great work! I love the softness of the piece, the almost ethereal feel to it.

I really loved that show, and I thought it was a great touch that there were two Robins - the contrast between them was fantastic. I'm glad to see some Jason Connery fanart out there, too! :heart:
